Launchpad are please to be able to offer from September a Fine Furniture Making course.

A course following in the traditions of the Gloucestershire Guild of Craftsmen Fine Furniture Making course at Gloucestershire Launchpad. This course will suit creative individuals, from school leavers to mature students, aiming for employment in the fine furniture market place. Working on bespoke pieces that will form a legacy for the future, you will meet experienced fine furniture makers and get to showcase your work.

The course is project based and will involve techniques and skills to demonstrate best practice:

• Solid wood construction

• Cabinet making and marquetry

• Veneering

• Machine tools

• Setting and sharpening hand tools

Course details:

Level: 1, 2 and 3

Location: Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire GL20 8UQ

Mode of study: Full-time
